If you turn on your Hispanic TV networks , nowadays lots of Mexicans are
blaming Argentinian coach/ naturalized players on Football World Cup elimination!
Lots of them are demanding that non mexican born people are not allowed neither to coach nor to play for Mexico anymore!:eek:

Generalizations are dangerous, for your information it is not racism, the fear of foreigners is known as Xenophobia. Argentines are not that much different from persons from Mexico as to their ethnicity and racial composition. Secondly the views of a few angry callers should not get a country labelled for a social ill just as the minute men and some supremacist groups do not make the US predominantly racist. We're loosing the focus here, this is not about this country or that country its about the immigrant community and the challenges we collectively face.

If you can make a concerted effort and we can ensure a large number of people will actually send the flowers, it would make a great media story. A wonderful splash on the media pages. American media will eat it up. Then get one of the IV core members to actually go on the air and explain the problem.

so this case has some merrit, however, the very core of this case is based on the employment being annually renewable. which means that the petitioner had to take periodic active action to be employed with the university employer... thats where the argument broke down for the petitioner... further, it is VERY GOOD to know that USCIS actually made an attempt to consider this emloyment for I-140 approval. it is good to know that they deliberated and then decided to reject instead of summarily rejecting on prima facie facts. one more very good thing to know (and avoid for ourselves) is that the petitioner in this case represented himself (no lawyer). its possible that if there was a laywer involved, they could have brought up some more documentation or at least shown the light to the university's staff as far as requirements are concerned. further still: no talk was engaged into as far as ability to pay is concerned. FURTHER FURTHER still: this case is about I-140... and we are all talking primarily about I-485 and AC21 cases within....

My i-140 no. starts with SRC 06, is this also from Texas?
If you have I140 receipt with you, just look at the bottom. It will tell you if it was from NSC or TSC.

My application was mailed on June 25th to TSC and picked up by TSC IO on June 28th . The new weekly processing update states processing/receipting completed till june 28th. But they still haven't cashed my check or issued any receipt ? When I called the 800 number to ask them regarding my application they first told me to wait for 15 days ,then 45 days and now 90 days. Whats the point of issuing weekly update if USCIS itself is not following it,it is creating more anxiety then doing any good.
I am wondering what if they misplaced/lost my application, will they accept resubmitting a new I485 petition after Aug17th based on Fedex signature conformation receipt signed by an IO, of previously filed petition??:confused:

is actually related to quota listed in INA Sec. 203. [8 U.S.C. 1153] a - 2. (family quota)

Folks, it is time for the H1B community to grow up. Business is business. I am not a blood sucking deshi firm, or a silent partner. If anyone's I140 is pending at NSC, they thinks otherwise. You will feel other lanes are fast except one which you are. :D it's humane nature and It's ok to vent. you will feel better.;)
Most of the applications are going to NSC but TSC is the one which is slow. I do not understand the reason. It seems their boss (Mr. Gonzales) sits in NSC, so they do not do any work. Does any one have any idea why TSC is so slow.
If it goes like this, it will take a century to get EAD and AP itself.
Just venting out my frustration...:mad:

Filed two EAD renewals to TSC: one on 07/06/08, another on 07/14/08.
Both included only the documents required by the filing instruction, nothing besides.
The first one was accepted, ND 8 Jul, the second returned with a request for a copy of I-485.
Added and re-sent again- no receipt yet.

you properly instead of going thru' multiple lawyers . Write a letter to the state senator an explain your situation.Last but not least remain positive. God is there with you and your family.

I absolutely agree with you. One of my cousin is unfortunately suffering in EB3 for years he is a MS and working for over 10 years, he has been trying to port to EB2...but his attorney flatly refused on grounds that the company doesn't need a advanced degree applicant for that position and they can't justify the same to USCIS and invite scrutiny especially in this economy.
Ofcourse porting is blessing for lawyers and it means greenbacks for them the more the better.
